Realistic Reactions, Injury & Fear
Character Guidelines for Roleplaying Injuries and Threats
Injury Role Play
Acknowledge and React: Roleplay the effects of injuries realistically. Minor cuts cause discomfort, while a gunshot wound should be severely incapacitating.
Progressive Recovery: Show realistic recovery over time; instant healing is not permitted.
Fatal Incidents: Acknowledge that fatal injuries lead to permanent character death.
Fear Role Play
Realistic Reactions: Display genuine fear in life-threatening situations.
Priority on Survival: Avoid unrealistic heroics, especially when outnumbered or unarmed.
Value of Life
Survival Instincts: Characters should prioritize their survival naturally.
Avoid Recklessness: Do not engage in life-threatening actions without a compelling in-character reason.
