New Life Rule
Managing Character Death and Interactions
Key Points:
Negative Interactions:
Two negative interactions can lead to a character being killed by the victim of these interactions.
Permadeath Decision:
Permadeath (perma) is not mandatory after a character is killed.
If the opposing party does not wish to permadeath, the death does not have to be permanent.
New Life Rule (NLR):
If a character's death is not made permanent, the character must adhere to the NLR.
The character must forget the interactions and any roleplay leading to their death.
Guidelines:
Consider the storyline and context before permadeathing a character.
Communicate with other players to ensure roleplaying remains enjoyable for all parties involved.
Always adhere to the NLR if a character returns after a non-permanent death.
